African Wild Dog, Lycaon pictus
This wild dog pack was lying in the shade of a bush in the heat of the midday sun. One of the most endangered mammals in Africa, the Chobe / Moremi areas in Botswana are one of the few areas in Southern Africa where there is a chance of seeing them.
